Welcome to the home page of journalist and writer Mark Abramson
This site features the journalism work of Mark Abramson, a veteran reporter who has worked in the United States and in Europe. He has worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for about half of his career and has covered everything from police and public safety to the federal government, courts, and other subjects. He also worked in Europe for Stars and Stripes, the military’s independent newspaper, as a roving reporter on bases in Germany, England, and Italy. He has also lived in Israel.
Mark Abramson worked as a freelance writer and journalist when he returned to the United States. He has also covered military contracting, transportation, health care, and sports marketing for a business newspaper in Honolulu during his career.
He has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from San Diego State University and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Arizona State University.
